Lewis has lived his life for the people as a civil rights leader who helped organize events and protests to raise voting rights awareness. He has even been beaten together with other voting rights activists by the police in 1965 as they tried to cross the Edmund pettus Bridge in Selma, Alabama, on what is known as “Bloody Sunday”
Lewis finally said in his statement on Friday at NBC News that “I think the Russians participated in helping this man get elected and they have destroyed the candidacy of Hilary Clinton,”
